Crewcible Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Crewcible service. It applies to every person who accesses the service, and it is incorporated into the Crewcible Customer Agreement. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Customer Agreement.

2. Permitted purpose

The service is provided for legitimate preparedness, training, and exercise purposes. Realistic depictions of crises, threats, attacks, and bad actors — including those generated with the service's AI features — are the intended use of the service and do not violate this AUP.

3. Prohibited content

You will not use the service to create, store, or distribute: (a) content targeting real, identifiable individuals for harassment, defamation, or intimidation; (b) content providing actual operational instructions for causing physical, digital, or financial harm, as distinct from fictional depiction within an exercise; (c) content that is unlawful, or that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person; or (d) malicious code, or content designed to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any system.

4. Prohibited conduct

You will not: (a) interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the service; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, to other customers' accounts, or to any systems or networks connected to the service; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure, or algorithms of the service, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits; (d) modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the service; (e) remove or obscure any proprietary notices, marks, or labels; (f) resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise make the service available to any third party except as expressly permitted in the Customer Agreement; (g) use the service to build or assist in building a competing product or service; (h) access or use the service if you are, or are acting on behalf of, a direct competitor of Crewcible, without our prior written consent; (i) access the service to monitor its availability, performance, or functionality, or for any other benchmarking or competitive purpose, or publish or disclose any benchmark or comparison of the service without our prior written consent; or (j) use automated means to access the service other than through interfaces we provide, or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, entitlements, or access controls.

5. AI features

AI-generated output is produced by machine and provided as-is. You are responsible for reviewing it and for any content you choose to use. Crewcible is not a compliance certifier, auditor, or advisor, and nothing produced by or contained in the service constitutes legal, regulatory, or compliance advice or establishes compliance with any framework or regulation.

6. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity conducted under your account, and for maintaining the confidentiality of information you access through the service.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to the service for any violation of this AUP. Access in violation of section 4(g), 4(h), or 4(i) is a material breach permitting immediate suspension or termination without notice. Where a violation is attributable to a Customer's User, we may suspend that User's access, the Customer's account, or both.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP. Material changes require acceptance before continued use of the service, and we record the version accepted and when.
